University Foundation Year
OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies
Course Duration: Full-time 6 months or Part-time 9 months

The Foundation Year is an entry route to all our undergraduate courses. It ensures that each learner is equipped with in-depth knowledge of study skills, mathematics, computing, society and culture, business and accounting.
For entry onto the Foundation Year, learners must:

Have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment criteria.

Should be at least 16 years old

Preferably to have secondary/high school diploma

English requirements: If a learner is not a national of an English-speaking country, they must provide evidence of English language competency at a standard equivalent to the levels identified below:

Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 51

IELTS 5.5; Reading and Writing must be at 5.5
Tasks consist of presentations, essays, case studies, reports. Students will download and submit their assessments through our online learning platform.
Students will achieve an OTHM Level 3 Diploma for Higher Education Studies.
Full time: Students will take three subjects per quarter with a total of 2 quarters lasting 6 months.
Part time: Students will take wo subjects per quarter with a total of 3 quarters lasting 9 months.
